"Deep
inside us all we know the body never lies. So let's walk like
champion's, let's move like super heroes.. let's get those feelings
embodied in us. When we train like this we strengthen a life skill
that can now be used. So rather than falling into old patterns, we
create a new alignment that holds us strong in challenging
circumstances."
Who is it for

What do we do
We
love to move our bodies. Using techniques from martial arts, dance
and acrobatics. We'll be developing a healthy relationship with our
body's by honoring its sacred power, showing it respect and showing
ourselves how strong we truly are. Bringing an awareness to our
breathe so we develop a deep conscious movement that is executed with
control. We develop our artistic expression through movement. We will
have fun discovering new planes of movement and interacting in
partnerships which further develops our understanding of biomechanics
and therefore learning to trust and be responsible for another.
What to expect
Warm
up the physical body. Get moving around the space. Energy moving
freely.
Go
deeper into our movements by exploring whole body natural animalistic
movements which condition the body to become strong and flexible.
Then
we'll be ready for isolated movements that not only challenge our
coordination but expand our awareness of what can be done with our
body's which is a lot of fun!
To
grow we must share so now we move onto partner work. Dance side by
side. Interact with choreographed movements or improvised. We will
also work with supporting each other in movement like handstands or
other similar acro-balance skills.
We
will then end with some kind of game that unites us all together in a
circle and celebrates our achievements.
